Test Case

•          QATC (Quality Assurance Test Cases)

–       QATC is a document that describes test procedures (Test steps / Test conditions to be executed), set of inputs (test data to be applied on app), predicted expected results (Expected Results), status criteria of the each test (test status) and actual results of the Application

–       Test Cases mainly contain the following

–       Inputs

–       Outputs

–       Process (Execution Conditions)

Test cases and Test suites

•          Test case is a triplet of [I, S, O] where

–       I is input data

–       S is System conditions to be executed

–       O is the expected output

•          Test suite is set of test cases that belong to a particular test category / type

•          Test cases are not randomly selected. Instead even they need to be designed
